Am I eligible for the Costco settlement?

You qualify if you were a Washington resident when you received a commercial sales email from Costco between June 2, 2021 and July 7, 2026. Payments are an equal share of the net fund, so the amount depends on how many people claim. The class period is June 2, 2021 to December 31, 2027. Only residents of Washington are eligible.

A lawsuit claims Costco sent Washington residents marketing emails with subject lines advertising limited-time promotions that the company already knew it would extend. Washington's Commercial Electronic Mail Act bars misleading commercial email subject lines. Costco denies wrongdoing but agreed to a $14 million settlement.
