Am I eligible for the Kalshi investigation?
You may qualify if you are 18 or older and lost money betting on Kalshi. Attorneys are pursuing this as a mass arbitration rather than a class action, and they may ask for your Kalshi username and records of your losses. The class period is January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2027.

What is this investigation about?
Kalshi runs a prediction market where people put money on the outcome of sports games and other events. Attorneys allege this is unlicensed sports betting under state law and was marketed deceptively, and that roughly 30 states have long-standing "loss recovery" statutes letting losing gamblers sue to get their money back. Kalshi disputes this and argues its federal CFTC registration overrides state gambling law — courts have split on that question, so there is no guarantee any money is recovered.
