What is this settlement about?
A $5M class action settlement was reached with Dapper Labs over alleged Video Privacy Protection Act (VPPA) violations on its NFL All Day, Disney Pinnacle, UFC Strike, NBA Top Shot, and LaLiga Golazos sites. Plaintiffs alleged Dapper Labs disclosed subscribers' personally identifiable information to third parties (Facebook, Google, Microsoft, Snap, Twitter, TikTok pixels) without consent. Defendant denied violating any law but agreed to settle.
