What is this settlement about?

A lawsuit claims several PVC pipe makers — including Atkore, Northern Pipe Products, and Vinyltech — coordinated to inflate prices on PVC pipe and fittings sold in the U.S. from January 2020 onward. To resolve the claims, Atkore agreed to pay $64 million and Northern Pipe/Vinyltech agreed to pay $34 million (about $98 million combined). No claim form is available yet; the court still needs to approve a plan for distributing the money.
