What is this settlement about?
TED — the nonprofit behind TED Talks — is settling a lawsuit that claims it shared information about the videos its account holders watched with third parties without their permission. Every class member automatically gets two free months of TED Membership (worth at least $10). Instead of the membership, you can file a quick no-proof claim for a $5 cash payment, or donate that payment back to TED. The Claim ID and PIN you need are in the notice email TED's settlement administrator sent you.
